For the past two (2) years Playa Beer has entered the most prestigious Beer Festivals of Northern Nevada.  The Washoe County Beer Cup, Northern Nevada Beer Festival, Lake Lahonton Beer Awards and the Pershing County Brew Fest, represent some of the best beers the State of Nevada has ever produced.

There has been an aggressive atmosphere in the highly competitive sport we know as Micro Brewing.  The judges in each of these competitions responded with a resounding verdict in favor of the taste of Playa Beers' offerings.

Playa Beer also received a Special Award at the Washoe County Beer Cup, presented to companies for achieving excellence, honoring the unique values the Northern Nevada-based Micro Brew manufacturers exemplify. This award for Quality & Tradition acknowledges our ongoing effort in the craft of brewing products not only high in quality but rich in flavor. As well as experimenting with different brewing procedures to further the entire industry.
